ST. A'S CELEBRATES THE OPENING OF THE YEAR OF FAITH
AND THE SCHOOL'S 50TH ANNIVERSARY

Our Year of Faith opened on Thursday, October 11, 2012 with Father Bob, our Pastor as the main celebrant at our school Mass. The 50th Anniversary of our school was also celebrated. Through narration and posters the history of the church and school was shared with the school and extended community. Parents, Graduates, and Special Guests shared the beautiful Mass enhanced with the sounds of joy from our children through prayer and song.

After the celebration of the Eucharistic Feast the students were treated to a catered luncheon. It was a festive party with pasta, chicken tenders; vegetables, salad and garlic bread. The lunch was “topped off” with cupcakes made with the special ingredient of love by the House of Cupcakes and an ice-cream sundae. One student said:  “I feel like I am in Heaven.” That sentiment expresses the delightful time the students enjoyed.

THANK YOU, FATHER BOB!

CELEBRATING BAPTISM FOR THE YEAR OF FAITH

During this year of Faith we are celebrating our students Baptismal Date. They gather around the Baptismal Font for a special blessing.  In their honor, they are able to invite a guest for lunch on the day of remembrance. Each morning during the month they are prayed for. For the month they are the stars on KTN. (Our school’s television network)
