Action Alert: Contact Your Legislators to Oppose Assisted Suicide

{Updated 3/22/19}

The New Jersey Catholic Conference has updated their Action Alert urging everyone to contact your State Legislators and ask them to vote against S1072/A1504, the Aid in Dying for the Terminally Ill Act. On Monday, March 25, the bill will be voted on in both the Senate and the Assembly.  The bill would allow physicians to prescribe drugs to end the lives of terminally ill individuals considered to have six months to live. Please contact your state legislators and tell them that you oppose A1504/S1072.

Action Alert: US Senate Fails to Pass the Born Alive Legislation

The Human Life Action Center has issued an Action Alert regarding the failure of the US Senate to pass the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (S. 311). The vote took place on February 25, and the bill failed on a vote of 53 to 44, with 3 senators not voting. In spite of the shocking result, we must not become discouraged. Please take a minute to write to your senators to express appreciation for their support of Born Alive, or disappointment and disapproval if they voted against it.
