MATH FIFTH GRADE
After completing our study of geometry, we are now working on fractions. Math vocabulary is an important part of learning how to describe fractions. Factors, numerator, denominator, improper fractions, and mixed numbers are all terms we have defined with examples in the Math notebook.
The class will learn how to find the greatest common factor of two numbers. This is an important step in simplifying fractions. We will also work on word problems with extra or not enough information.
